Playing...

Cameron loves exploring and running all over the house with me trailing behind.  He especially loves running into our closet and playing peek-a-boo.  He tries to close the door, but I prop it open so he can't close it all the way and he loves to peek around the door at me.

Granddad came by late last week to babysit Cameron while I was at an interview.  Cameron had a wonderful time.  He ate lunch, went for a walk outside, and had fun wrestling on Granddad.  He gave Granddad big hugs when he left and even cried...which of course made Granddad's day!  :)

Stomach virus

Recently, a stomach virus went through Cameron's daycare and Cameron was no exception.  He wasn't eating much and vomiting, but other than that, was generally in a pretty good mood.  Josh went away on business for 3 nights and unfortunately the stomach bug hit me as well.  I was up all night throwing up and called Granddad at the crack of dawn to come help me because I couldn't stop throwing up and couldn't take care of Cameron.  Granddad rushed over and took care of Cameron for the day/evening so that I could get to the doctor and get some rest, and helped me get Cameron to the pediatrician.  Granddad was so helpful and by evening I was feeling much much better!  (What better way to say "thank you", than passing along the virus to Granddad...sorry about that.  :( )

Cameron was so sweet and gave Graddad big hugs around his neck!

Cameron loved reading bedtime stories with Granddad.

Lunch at Grandmom and Granddad's

We went to Grandmom and Granddad's last week for lunch.  Grandmom made a great lunch and a delicious dessert with a cool whip topping...Cameron LOVED the cool whip!  He just kept signing "more, more, more".  You can see his satisfied little whipped cream smile!

Cameron also had a great time with the fan.  We don't have any ceiling fans in our house, so when he's somewhere that has ceiling fans, he's extremely fascinated by them.  He loved using the remote control to turn the fan and light on and off.

My Gym

We took Cameron to My Gym class several months ago and he did not like it one bit.  He just kind of clung to us and was not interested in actually playing with any of the toys or other kids.  We decided we would try it again now that he's older and more interactive and he really does enjoy it.  He loves the music, climbing all the toys, and dancing around the circle.  Whenever there is group-play, he still prefers to go off and do his own thing...especially when it's clean-up time!

Dancing with the Stars

This is an old video that I recently stumbled across, and it was too cute not to post.  Cameron loves dancing to the music on Dancing with the Stars!

Ella's 4th Birthday

I cannot believe how quickly time passes.  I remember being at the hospital when Ella was born.  Now, 4 years later, she's such a big girl.  We had a great time at her birthday party and it was so fun to see her interact with all her little friends.  Ella's birthday was at a bounce house type place where the kids were able to just run around and have fun.

Ella was so sweet and loved showing off her "baby" to all her friends.
Cameron wasn't quite sure at first, but then he loved this little toy and kept bouncing and bouncing on it.

January fun...

Cameron just has such a personality now.  He loves rolling all over the floor, running back and forth across the family room, pulling toys and books off the bookshelf, and plopping into my lap to read.
Just playing and having fun with Mama...

Working on using utensils while eating...

Playing in a box, NOT helping Mama try and put together his toy.

To say that Cameron LOVES Nola is an understatement.  He shrieks with delight when he sees her and always yells "da"...meaning "dog"...and sometimes will say "tat"...meaning "cat", but we're still working on that.  Every time Josh gets the leash from the front closet to walk Nola, Cameron darts over to pick up the leash.  He starts wielding it like a madman which usually sends Nola running away.
 Walking Nola...

It was incredibly nice and beautiful out on New Year's Eve, so we decided to have a picnic at the park.  Cameron was not interested in "picnicking" at all, rather just really enjoyed picking up leaves and grass and had fun attempting to get his footing on the hills.
