For some reason, Cameron thinks it's so funny when people cough or sneeze...especially himself. A few weeks ago, we were joking around while he was eating and he could not stop laughing. Josh and I were in tears with how hysterical he was. The video starts off slow, but you won't be disappointed!

6 month professional pictures!
This morning we took Cameron to get his 6 month professional pictures taken. We were so worried because he decided he did not want to take a nap beforehand, so we were convinced he would be trouble. He was incredible! He loved the lady that took his picture and was happy to smile! We are thrilled with how they turned out. I know that every parent thinks they have the most precious baby in the world, but Cameron truly is!

Such a big boy...first solid foods!
So now that Cameron is 6 months old, we've started introducing solids. His first meal was rice cereal. As usual, no real response. He's just so laid back and doesn't really care either way. He liked putting his fingers in the bowl, and really loved sitting in the high chair and slapping the tray.
Day two...still learning the mechanics...and having fun while doing it!
Next was squash. Now in this case, I can confidently say that Cameron is not a huge fan of squash. He just kind of stared at us with his sad bright orange lips.
Sad sweet baby after his 6 month vaccines. Resting with some cold compresses on his thighs.
"Doing his business" in his stroller! You can see how bright red his face is after all his "hard work"!
Having fun with my friend, Heather, while out to a great lunch!
Big boy standing with the help of the couch. Look at those gorgeous thighs!

Grandma's Birthday lunch, hot Memorial Day weekend, and first trip to the pool!
Donna's birthday was just a few days ago so we went met Granddad and Grandmom for a fun birthday lunch!
Sooo sleepy on the hot ride home.
Playing with Nola from inside the Pack N Play
Playing with one of his favorite new toys from Mamaw. He plays music on this thing ALL day long. He's even starting to push it a little, while standing, with assistance.
It was such a hot weekend, but since Josh worked 2 days out of the 3 day weekend, we wanted to make the most of Memorial Day. We had a sweltering lunch outside. Cameron was cooling off with a cold napkin on his melon.
We wiped him down with cool washcloths when we got home. Cutie little sweaty man.
We decided that though he was just a few days under 6 months, we were going to take him for his first swim a little earlier than we originally planned.
Since we're headed to the beach in a few weeks, we already had some swim diapers ready to go. We had a moment of sadness when we realized that these diapers "pull-up"...He's growing up too fast!
Looking good in his swimsuit...
Swimming pool, here we come!
In true Cameron-style, he really didn't have too much of a reaction to the pool. He did a little bit of splashing around but overall just relaxed. He was not pleased the few times that he splashed himself in the face, but other than that, he really enjoyed cooling off.
Family Time
Two weeks ago, Mamaw drove down to watch Cameron while I had several interviews. Cameron had so much fun and seemed to play non-stop.
Just a few days later Grammy and Grampy G came down to Charlotte.

Hugging Grampy's head/hair-pulling. (We're still working on "nice hands".)
Having fun in his activity seat in his Hooters shirt from Gee Gee!
Gorgeous!
So much to update...
It's been a busy month of traveling and visiting for us. Cameron just turned 6 months old this past Saturday (unbelievable), but let me catch you up on the past few weeks.
Shortly after we returned from Virginia, we set off on another adventure...New Jersey to visit Grammy and Grampy G.
We took Cameron to a farm that I worked at one summer when I was a teenager. There were donkeys, rabbits, peacocks, and goats...
Cameron loves to read...
We also drove into the city one day to show Cameron Mom's office, and some of the sites. While it ended up being a long, traffic-filled ride home, Cameron had a great time in New York.
Having fun sitting at Grammy's desk
Cameron was actually deep in a stroller-nap at this time, so he didn't truly appreciate his trip to Washington Square Park.

Taking a break at Mom's hotel
The day after our Manhattan adventure, we went to a great Italian restaurant near home, owned by Grampy G's friend, Tommy. Tommy scooped Cameron up and took him into the kitchen to show him around. It was a Saturday night, so the kitchen was hopping. I'm sure the waitstaff rushing around to complete orders didn't really appreciate the little addition in the kitchen.

We had a great time in NJ. Cameron got to see where I grew up and do lots of fun things with Grammy and Grampy G. While it took 3 days to fly home (it's a long story), we were so glad we got to go.
Sweet baby hanging out in the airport.
Other pics...
Fun at home in his first baseball hat.
Having fun with Aunt Kristy
The following week we went down to SC to visit Grandma and Granddad. We had such a great time, and got to see their beautiful new house. To make the weekend even better, Aunt Colleen and Cousin Ella drove out for the weekend as well.

After lunch with Dad and Donna, Colleen and Ella came back to Charlotte for the rest of the weekend. We read LOTS of books, and just had a fun time hanging out.
