Cameron taught himself a new sound a few days ago. He has a crazy shriek that sounds like an animal call! It's funny because it's not an angry yell, rather just a fun new noise that he learned. We're hoping this remains an "at-home" noise, and that he doesn't try out his new sound in public.
Weekends are now quite different then they used to be before Cameron was born. We mostly spend them catching up on a thousand chores and having low key fun together at home. On Friday night we just hung out and had a nice time together.

Getting a kiss from Nola.
Grammy just got Cameron some precious new summer gear. He made quite a surprised face when he tried on his new crab sunhat.

Resting with Daddy
This morning, Cameron finally got to meet my friend Sara.
He had some fun, smiling and showing her how big he is!
On Friday, Cameron and I had a coffee date with my friends, Sarah, Heather, and Jeanine. He has been on a few outings, but each time I get so nervous since I'm never quite sure how he's going to do out in public. We were gone for nearly 2 hours and he was a perfect little gentleman. He had a great time with his lady friends. He played on everyone's lap and enjoyed reading the adorable book Jeanine got him about animal tails. I had such a great time catching up with my friends and Cameron enjoyed his first coffee date!
Cameron is now learning to give kisses. They basically consist of just a big gaping open mouth on your cheek, but I'll take it!
Other week 13 pics...
Mom just got Cameron some adorable summer gear, so he'll be all set for the beach in a few months. A few swim trunks, tops, a big sun hat, and best of all...his first pair of sunglasses! Yes, he's wearing them indoors. After all, the sun never goes down when you're cool.
It is incredible how well Cameron bares weight on his legs for being just 3 months old. He'll be standing on his own in no time.
Eating his burp cloth... Who needs toys? He's completely content just playing with cloth.
Beautiful baby boy.
Hanging out in his bumbo seat.
Josh finally received his diploma this week!
What a great feeling after 2.5 long years of hard work.
Josh and I bought this hat for Cameron right after we found out we were having a boy. It still doesn't fit him just yet, but it's getting closer. What a cool dude!
Cutie pie snoozing on the bed...
Cameron is now way too tall for the infant insert in his carseat carrier. We just put in these new neck wings to help hold his head steady. I was afraid he wasn't going to like them smushing his face, but he actually doesn't mind them, and in fact, quite enjoys licking them.
We often put up pillows on the couch to help Nola to understand that there are boundaries. She is allowed to sit on one end of the pillows and people/the baby sit on the other side. The other day she was sleeping with her face buried, so I peeked under the pillows and caught her cute little face all smashed up through the "pillow tunnel".
I’ve been sick for the past few days, so I’m just now catching up on the visit from a few weeks ago.Mom, Glenn, Colleen, Steve, and Ella came into town for the weekend. We had an action-packed, fun-filled few days!
Cameron and I went over to see Mom and Ella on Friday morning.Still in her jammies, Ella couldn’t wait to hold her baby cousin. (It looks like her "baby" cousin is almost as big as she is.)
We went to the park that day and walked around the lake, talked to the ducks, and played on the jungle gym.
While these activities are all slightly advanced for my baby boy, he sat quietly and ate his book, of course.
It was a great weekend. We visited Dad and Donna in SC and just enjoyed hanging out.

Cameron gave Grampy-G his birthday present.
(A very cool tie with Cameron's picture on it.)
Cameron read books and snuggled with Grammy.
(What a BIG baby!)
Sweet boy, smiling during a diaper change.
Josh and I always say how much Cameron loves baths, though he doesn't look too happy in this picture.
Hmmm, not too sure about this hair-washing thing...
